2020 formula 1 makes a bow to Germany – instead, the motor sport circus moves also in Vietnam. The Fans can look forward to as many races as never before.
22 race for 2020 are on the formula 1 calendar, but there is no home start for Sebastian Vettel in his possibly last Ferrari year. As has long been feared, the king class of motor racing without a Germany Course. The person in charge of the Hockenheimring had resulted in permanent discussions with the formula 1 bosses, but obviously not convinced: For the race in Germany, Vietnam and the Netherlands back into the programme. Spain is also a venue according to an agreement recently, also a loose candidate, Mexico.
Too few viewers, too high a cost
The route in the North of Baden can no longer afford due to reduced audience interest in the participation fee. Also, the Nürburgring is no longer available for some time due to financial reasons as an Alternative to disposal. The designated managing Director of the Hockenheimring, Jorn Teske, hopes that the abstinence of the route will not be permanent, and will lead to further discussions.
