As a co-favorite for the title, traded, holt Tunisia against Mali again, just a point and must now fear for the indentation in the knockout stages of the Africa Cup. Later, two Ex-Champions of Africa play against each other.

Three Bundesliga professionals were in this fixture in the squad, but only one played in the second preliminary round game from the beginning: Amadou Haidara (photo above right).
