Amazon will soon deliver the first packages with drones

The delivery of Goods from the air directly to the front door is taking on ever more concrete forms. The online retailer Amazon has presented a delivery drone to deliver the first packages on a regular basis.

The fully automatic and fully electric “Prime Air”-a flying device should first of all provide a test of small household goods such as toothpaste or razors, the group announced at a Tech conference in Las Vegas.

Amazon is working already for some years now, the drone technology, the competent Manager Jeff Wilke at the Event, in the U.S. state of Nevada, presented for the first Time in an optimized Version. Amazon boss Jeff Bezos had already been presented in 2013 a prototype of the delivery drone.

The now pre-led device can fly up to 24 km wide, and up to 2.3-kilogram packages within 30 minutes of putting. The drones would start like a helicopter vertically and land, wrote to Wilke. They would also fly in strong Wind-resistant.

Amazon has made no indication of where the “Prime Air”Service to start. So far, it has been tested in the UK, where in 2016 the first delivery of it. A customer had received a “Fire TV”video streaming Stick and a bag of Popcorn within 13 minutes after placing his Order, as Bezos proclaimed at the time on Twitter.
