The band members are from East Berlin and Schwerin. Their musical roots: Punk and Underground in the GDR. Paul Landers (guitar), and Flake Lorenz (keyboard) played “Feeling B.”, singer Till Lindemann in “First ass”, Oliver Riedel (bs) was at the Speed-Folk troupe “The Inchtabokatables”, Richard Kruspe (git) in the case of the “Orgasm Death Gimmicks” and Christoph Schneider’s drumming in “The company”.

Actually, the boys look quite nice. In 1995, when this photo was taken, there was the Band only for a year. The first album “Herzeleid” was outside, and therefore came up with chilling lyrics. Child abuse (“white flesh”) and necrophilia (“Marry me”), all packaged in the hardest guitar riffs, a merciless drums and a crunchy electro sound. Place 6 in the German album charts.

The cheerful pictures of bite the Beat with the hard fast Industrial. At the end of the clip to “My country” (2011) ends of the candy-colored beach party back in the usual Rammstein-Look with fire and evil faces.

The accompanying DVD conquered in 13 countries, # 1 on the DVD Charts. With the USA, the UK, France and Germany cracked Rammstein, four of the five largest music markets in the world.

There is hardly anything that has not yet been written about Rammstein. Singer Till Lindemann is also a carpenter and basket-making doctrine has made, and by the way, still seals. That he would be also able to speak almost for the East German swimming team in 1980 at the Olympic Games in Moscow. Rammstein: not at all right
It was and is not always very easy to assume that behind the appearance of Rammstein only Good. That Rammstein are not right made it clear the Band in 2001 with the Song “Links 2-3-4”. In March 2019, the Video Teaser for the first single off of “Germany” came from the in may Album. The Teaser shocked with images dealing with the Holocaust and the Terror in the Nazi concentration camps. Two days later, the Video appeared, it turned out that these scenes showed a part of the 2000-year history of Germany – from Roman times to today. Of course, the cutout for the Teaser, it was deliberately chosen – so the Video is exactly the attention that should get the new Single, and finally, the new Rammstein Album before the Release.
The abysses of the human brain
Till Lindemann provides the lyrics of the Band. That he is a master of poetry, he has already shown in two volumes of poetry. In his texts, it’s often a matter of psychology – to the depths of human consciousness: incest, pedophilia, necrophilia. When Lindemann sings about how someone’s dug up once a year to be his dead wife to have sex with her on a transport, that is certainly hard to swallow.
Sado-masochism and submission are also components of the texts as well as longings: after the death or for love. Quieter sounds while there are rare, but they occur also in the Rammstein Repertoire. For Fans of the Song “sailor” from the first Album “heartache”, a Rammstein classic goosebumps missed: dark romantic poetry, by Lindemann with a goosebumps-producing fragile tenderness delivered. The piece was recorded in 2003 by Nina Hagen and Apocalyptica.
The Band: a tight-knit Team
Whether loud or quiet, whether Shocker or a ballad: stayed In 25 years of band history, Rammstein loyalty. The six musicians seem to be inseparable. Guitarist Richard Kruspe says that this is because they talk a lot to each other: “70 percent of the time we are together, chat.” Also guitarist Paul Landers will feel right at home: “We play all over the world. We are always sold out, it’s a lot of fun – I know of nothing Better.”
In fact, there are only a few dates for the Europe Tour Tickets: In the UK Milton Keynes, Saint Petersburg, Riga, and two concerts in Vienna.
