You make the theatre meet at a Festival and a Forum of exchange and of the global encounter. The most remarkable productions of German-speaking stages are to be taken to the theatre to Berlin loaded.

Insights and views

In South Africa, says the choreographer, teacher and theatre-maker Kieron Jiena from Johannesburg, invent the Theater just new. It’ll be social, to pick up on current political issues in the country, with multi-colored performers and the stories of Black. Also the Aesthetics, you’ll be Western to change significantly.

Theatre-makers from Europe to India, often have the impression that the theatre work is rooted in the traditions, says the actress Currency Philip from Bangalore, also a Participant of the International forum of 2019. European theatre acting, however, they are often very futuristic.

In fact, this year’s theater is meeting in 2019, an abundant white event with the usual allocation of roles, and the usual gender conflicts. Not least thanks to the intrepid, very international scholarship holders is expected to be discussed in a lively and controversial.
