After the chaotic scenes, the British Parliament voted against a hard-Brexit. Theresa May suffered a further defeat and still want a third vote on the withdrawal agreement. By Barbara Wesel, London.

This should be the day on which the Parliament would take control of the Brexit. And it succeeded, after all, to miss Theresa May under chaotic circumstances, another defeat. They struck back, however, and a further vote on just announced the exit agreement, which had just been the day before, for the second Time, with a large majority, voted down. The Prime Minister is persistently. Their opponents talk of stubbornness.

Chaos in Westminster

The evening was so unpredictable and chaotic that even the most experienced Parliament’s observers beat the hands over the head together. The government showed how complete her control over process, coordination of discipline and agenda got out of hand.

A choice of two templates were against a hard, a so-called No-Deal Brexit. There was a sharper version of the conservatives Carolyn Spelman and a weaker presentation of the government’s Bank. The latter would have greater legal weight.

Brexit: Stormy days in the UK

Theresa May acknowledged, however, that you would be tied with the Spelman template to very the hands. They tried at the last Minute, to prevent the vote. This went wrong and ended May ban finally of his own party for the government to agree to a proposal to withdraw only to the already successful first submission the legal ground.

The Whole thing ended up, that May even you voted against your own No-Deal proposal. A case of absurd parliamentary theatre, the shows once more, how destructive of a Brexit in the political System of great Britain has raged.

This attempt also went awry. Several members of the government put on the whip and the voice, or voted abstained against the Prime Minister. With a majority of forty-three votes, the proposal went through, that great Britain should be discharged under any circumstances without agreement from the EU.

Because it was so nice, vote once

Theresa May has lost that night the last remnant of control over her Cabinet, her party and the Brexit, as well as the last shreds of credibility. But she’s not giving up. With the decision against a tough Brexit nothing was won, they remembered the deputies. Because the Kingdom on the 29. March fall automatically out of the EU, if this process will not be stopped actively.

But, you will need an extension. And which could be two to three months to overcome the technical problems of the withdrawal out of the way. The Basis for this, however, was that the Parliament would agree to a third attempt, finally, to the exit of the contract.

Head of the Labour party Jeremy Corbyn: private Brexit Plan against the government May

Or there would be a longer postponement of Brexit, in time for elections would be a second Referendum or anything else. This was a clear attempt at blackmail by the Prime Minister against the hard Brexiteers. What would you prefer, she asked the Tory hardliners by the flower, the bird in the Hand, so the negotiated Brexit agreement, or the dove on the roof, a of other or no Brexit and a long delay.

On the next Wednesday, the deputies are to vote in a third round, again about the same Brexit Deal. Steve Baker, spokesman for the hard Brexiteers, responded stubbornly: “We are voices (the Deal) again and again, as often as he will also be presented.” Jacob Rees-Mogg on the other hand, one of the most prominent hardliners, has indicated he could be ready to change his opinion, if the Northern Irish DUP would be on Board.

Titanic and iceberg

In the case of the EU showed, in the meantime, unimpressed by the British Brexit-Chaos. The vote against the No-Deal was unlikely to be effective. A Diplomat compared the Situation as a joke with the crew of the Titanic, decides that the iceberg should kindly Dodge. In other words: Just because you don’t want him, not to solve the hard Brexit in the air, there had to be more steps.

That is why the Parliament wants to ask this Thursday with new decisions of the government to compel the EU to an extension. Then, the date of 29 would be at least.March from the table.

Brexit-Drama has no end

But the deputies have taken over the control of the Brexit? Yet Theresa May on the handle seems to be, as long as they can force votes on the exit agreement. However, it is not excluded that the members of Parliament with a number of individual votes will determine whether and what Form of Brexit it is a majority, can give, with a softer Brexit with a customs Union, with whereabouts in the internal market, a second Referendum or new elections? On the base you could apply for the necessary extension in the case of the EU.

Speaking of elections: rumour has It, the Brexiteers would agree to the withdrawal agreement in the next week only the price that Theresa May is offering your resignation. It would be a really amazing result, if May would lose the Brexit Deal but save your head. It is questionable whether May is really this way from the yard to hunt. And also: The Brexiteers talk a lot, when the day is long. So far, May has survived every attack from your side.
