Bayern coach Kovac is at odds with video evidence

The series is torn. After seven Wins in a row, FC Bayern conceded in Leverkusen, Germany, a defeat and losing ground to leaders BVB. Two decisions, according to video evidence for discussion.

Two minutes before the end of the Game, Bayern Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and President Uli Hoeness on the honorary tribune of the Leverkusen stadium, put our heads together. The 3 was given:1 for Bayer 04 after video proof of the final decision. Rummenigge and Hoeness are likely to be with coach Niko Kovac agreed that after the 3:1 (0:1) success of the Leverkusen festival: “It went against us.” Thus, Kovac said, especially the decisions of the team to referee Tobias Stieler. Twice the video were trying wizard, twice, she judged, to the detriment of Bavaria.

With the knee in an Offside position

It had looked like right after the kickoff. Directly in the first Minute of Bayer striker Kevin Volland scored the Ball in the penalty area to the Hand of Mats Hummels. The Arm of the inside defender was stretched out wide. However, referee Tobias Stieler failed the Werkself in the hand with a penalty – borderline. In the result of the Munich controlled the game and went through a head to the ball from Leon Goretzka (41. Minute) deserved lead. Bayer defense looked this bad: Thomas Müller was able to flank around the rest of the right, Goretzka a nodded in unchallenged from six yards.

In the injury time of the first half, the Ball was again in the gate of the Leverkusen. After a nice play for Bayern, Robert Lewandowski had made (45.+2). However, after video evidence of the hit was not given. Lewandowski pre-stretched knee made for a very tight offside position of the poles. “That was the decisive scene of the game”, afterwards was Bayern coach Kovac. “If we would have gone with a 2:0 lead in the break, would have considered the game otherwise.”

Twice countered

But in the first half of pale Leverkusen were transformed from the cabin. Leon Bailey sank a free-kick to the 1:1 (53.) in the left corner of the net. Sven Ulreich, who stood in for the injured captain Manuel Neuer between the posts, was, however, not a very good figure.

Bayern lost the order, and were twice countered by Bayer 04 classic. First of all, Volland opened the scoring after good work from Mitchell Weiser and Karim Bellarabi to 2:1 (63.). And then Lucas Alario ended shortly before the end of a quick attack on Bellarabi Julian Brandt for 3:1 (87.). Unlike Lewandowski, the video wizard saw no offside position, although it was also in this case, very scarce. “Most likely, the tape measure is brought out,” said Bayern Coach Kovac.

“We believe in it”

So he wanted to make the referee team, but the responsibility of the successful series of the Munich-based crack after seven Wins in Leverkusen: “We were not supposed to lose the game, but would have had to close in the first half, the bag.” But the residue of the Bayern leaders Borussia Dortmund, who played at Eintracht Frankfurt 1:1 increased, to seven points. “It didn’t happen too much. Now there are not six points, but a more,” said Kovac, and blew to the further hunting of the BVB: “We never give up. We believe in it and will continue to work for it.”
