Naomi Osaka wins as the first Japanese to the Australian Open

With their victory over the Czech Petra Kvitova, the 21-Year-old made for a novelty. You won the second Grand Slam title of her career and is now ranked one of the Tennis world rank list.

It was to much for Naomi Osaka in Melbourne: the first Australian Open title, the number one of the Tennis world rank list, and, of course, a lot of money. The equivalent of almost 2.6 million euros, can take the living in the USA, the daughter of a Haitian man and a Japanese woman now, after her victory over Petra Kvitova home.

The highly-charged match was the first Match of the two against each other. Both were also, for the first Time in the final of the Australian Open. And Naomi Osaka, the first Japanese girl, which brings the title. After you could not use in the second sentence, first of three match points, she won the dramatic third set and won with 7:6, 5:7 and 6:4.

2016 Osaka was a success at the Australian Open for the first Time, qualifying for a Grand Slam tournament at all. There, she was drawn right away in the third round. At the US Open in 2017, Osaka had thrown in the first round, defending champion Angelique Kerber out of the tournament.
