Is there really a “German Angst”, which paints an ironic picture abroad? After that, the history Museum asks in his current exhibition: “the fear of a German feeling?”.
“Fear” long ago, it has managed the word into English – and as a typical German feel to it. The Museum exhibition in Bonn, suggests this conclusion, but before a response. “In Germany, a higher emotionality prevails,” says curator Judith Kruse. “The Germans are looking especially for security,” adds Hans Walter Hütter, President of the Foundation house of history.
