Almost 30 years after the fall of the Berlin wall, the conditions are not the same. Workers in the East are working longer than in the West and earn less. In other Nations, however, worked significantly more.
In the past year, were workers in the old Federal States in the section 1279 of work hours. In East Berlin there were 1346 hours, so 67 more. Berlin is attributed to the West, in the East of 75 hours.
At the same time of the year were gross wages per employee in the West with 35.084 Euro of almost 5000 Euro higher than in the new countries, with 30.172 Euro. The data of the Statistical Offices of the Federation and the länder, has evaluated the Left group in the Bundestag.
In the cut the longest 2017 has been worked thus, in Thuringia, with a total of 1,371 hours per employee. The least hours of work, it was with 1255 in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
