The American TV series “Homeland” with the eighth season of 2019 to the big Finale. Producer and screenwriter Alex Gansa said that it was time to bring the action to an end.
Actress Claire Danes had already indicated in April, in a radio interview that after season eight final will be with the successful series “Homeland”. Officially, the cable television network Showtime confirmed the end but only now.
Showtime boss David Nevins announced, producer, and screenwriter Alex Gansa will bring “Homeland” to a “reasonable conclusion”. Gansa said he was sad that the end of the series closer, however, it was at the time.

“Homeland” is based on the Israeli series “Hatufim In the Hand of the enemy”. The so-called war on Terror is the context of the plot of “Homeland”. The first season of the American television series started in October 2011 in the United States.
