Comment: Trump failed in Charlottesville

Because of great America. Charlottesville shows: The Only thing that made Trump in the United States, is hatred. America’s Ultra-right spot of the democratic heritage of the country, says Jefferson Chase.

I have a doctorate at the University of Virigina. Where on Friday of people with torches, a Ku-Klux-Klan-meeting prevented and Nazi slogans and racist slogans chanted, I read once books in the library. And now, the: Dead and injured at a rally of Ultra-Right-wing in Charlottesville.

The scene was played on the Campus of the University of Virginia, the students simply refer to as a “lawn”. The founder of the University of Thomas Jefferson, draftsman of the American Declaration of independence and third President of the United States.

“Mister Jefferson,” as the residents of Charlottesville to call the city father and founder of the University still, was a complex personality. Although he regarded slavery as “a temporary necessary moral Evil,” even slaves had, he wrote in the Declaration of independence: “All men are created equal.”

At the sight of the decency of people, the soil, the heritage and the University of Thomas Jefferson, and spiritually humble of the stomach turns to me. These fanatics turn their aggressions, they do not understand, in hatred of supposedly Foreign. For me, the memories of 9/11.

With Nazi-flags and defend democracy?

DW-author Jefferson Chase

“We in America have no government that represents the majority,” wrote Jefferson once. “We have a government that represents the majority of the politically Active.” But it is precisely because the United States currently.

The events in Charlottesville are another example of the will of the right-wing political camp, to rule over the majority of the voters. The real message of the movement to “Unite the right” is: “We want to replace the majority.” But what people outside of Charlottesville to come to a University town, and to defend democracy with Nazi flags? And what brings an individual offender to lawn with his car into a crowd of counter-demonstrators?

Answer: The decision of the democratically elected city Council of Charlottesville, to remove a Statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee from the American civil war. The southern States were at that time for the preservation of slavery.

Stupid and bigoted

And still a question: How could fall to the USA so low? You don’t need a University degree from Virginia or elsewhere, to answer this question. In only seven months of a President, which was against the will of the majority of the voters to the White house has outlined a model for a new, stupid, and bigottes America. In regular, disgusting and silly effusions with a circumference of 140 characters.

It is not surprising that the President, responds otherwise, quickly with “rage and fire”, in the case of Charlottesville with its response to the white racists for so long. Trump has made America, in fact, great again, and the hatred in America.

It is sad. Even seasoned conservative politicians, like the Republicans, Paul Ryan and Orrin Hatch have condemned trump’s response to Charlottesville.

But words are one thing, deeds another. So here’s my question to Paul Ryan, Orrin Hatch and the Rest of the Republican members: What will you do to Charlottesville? Will you defend the democratic traditions of America? Or are you going to serve your a coward your new Lord?

“If God is just, I tremble for my country,” said Jefferson once. It was hard for me to think of those words when I saw the police in Charlottesville stirred no Finger, just a stone’s throw from one of the most prestigious universities in the country road broke out of the battles.

The greater the admiration I have for the counter-protesters, mayor Michael Signer from Charlottesville-and Virginia’s Governor Terry McAuliffe. You have been the March of the white racists. All, where the Well-being of the United States is also just a touch on the heart, should follow their example.
