Sell mobile chargers for smartphones in the Netherlands is growing strong

The sale of mobile chargers in the Netherlands is growing strong. This is apparent from the quarterly of analistenbureau GfK. Thanks to the ‘power packs’ gave the Dutch in the past few months, more than half more money from smartphone accessories than in the same period of the previous year.

With the mobile chargers, users can have their unit during the day to recharge without a power outlet having to search. Because many users of the first or the second day after they put their unit on the charger do not come through, and they buy more often, a mobile charger and that leads to an increase of 54 per cent in the sale of telephone accessories, says GfK in the report.

Almost half of the toestelverkopen in the Netherlands is now without combination with a subscription; that people buy so loose devices. According to GfK 41 percent of the sold phones linked to a subscription, while the rest of the devices in prepaidpakketten over-the-counter; that is a little more than 10 percent.

Meanwhile the half of the sold phones suitable for 4g. Now two providers, nationwide coverage claim, namely KPN and Vodafone, and the third, T-Mobile, the whole of the Randstad area covered, more and more people use 4g. Nevertheless, the percentage is not particularly high: there are only a few new models of the established brands without 4g capability.

Only 19 percent of the sold phones is not a smartphone; almost all will be cheap devices are for people who only want to make calls and send text messages. The more expensive ‘featurephone’, which until a few years ago was popular with models like the more expensive Nokia phones, the Samsung Ultra-series and LG Chocolate models, has disappeared from the shops.
