Hacker steals data of users Belgian games website update

A hacker has access to a database with user data from the popular gamingwebsite 9lives. Users of the Belgian site, it is recommended to their password.

The hack was by 9lives self confirmed on his website. Furthermore there is, however, little information is given: it is recommended users to get their password to be changed on 9lives and other websites where they use the same password, but they will not be told how much data is in the hands of the hacker. According to 9lives is still investigating how the theft of the data is established.

9lives is one of the largest gamingwebsites of the Benelux. Allegedly, there are ‘hundreds of thousands’ of users with an account on the website. The site is hosted by the Belgian provider Telenet. That confirmed, among other opposite news site Editors that 9lives is hacked.

Update 10:52 pm: 9lives, the site has now been taken offline. In addition, it is now made known that, the hacker the entire user database in your hands, and this against payment by you.
