The largest publisher of news outlets in Germany, Axel Springer, has after two weeks decided to Google yet, parts of articles to be indexed. The blockade ensured that the number of visitors through Google and Google News strongly decreased.

Together with two hundred other German publishers decided Axel Springer two weeks ago to Google, to prohibit the content of articles to cite in Googles search engine and Google News, but this is the publisher now back again, reports Reuters news agency.

A last year law that has been adopted makes it possible for German publishers as possible, to Google, to prohibit the content of articles to be indexed. However, the headline of an article must be cited. The omission of the text of the articles meant that there from Google 40 percent fewer visitors to the websites of Axel Springer came. For Google News, the decline is even 80 percent.

Recently won Google a lawsuit that the German publishers had filed. The publishers wanted Google money would pay for the indexing of articles, but it did not, the court concluded. Then decided the publishers of the blockade.

According to Google, give the decision of Axel Springer to articles index to the search engine of added value for the publishers.
