The first jailbreak for iOS 8 and 8.1 has been released. The jailbreak installs Cydia not on devices, because the alternative downloadwinkel are not yet compatible with the new version of iOS.
This is the jailbreak of PanGu currently only aimed at developers that their jailbreak-apps compatible to iOS 8. The jailbreaktool is currently only available to download for Windows. An OS X version will follow later, “but not in the near future’, so say the developers. The jailbreaktool is also in Chinese, an English version will follow within a few days.
It is the first jailbreak for iOS 8 and 8.1; there are more developers working on it, but the Chinese were last year, even though the first with an iOS 7-jailbreak. Supposedly they have been waiting for the release of iOS 8.1 to see if the used exploits in iOS, there still would be sitting. Apple released iOS 8.1 on Monday. The jailbreak is, according to the team of developers is compatible with all iOS devices.
