Maker Angry Birds relieve 130 people

Angry Birds-maker Rovio dismisses 130 people, about one sixth of its staff. That said the Finnish company itself. The layoff is necessary because the company has not grown rapidly as it had expected.

In a statement says, Rovio-director Mikael Hed that the redundancies are necessary to the growth of the company again to stir. “It is better to do it sooner rather than later.” This will involve 130 of the 780 jobs at Rovio lost, approximately one-sixth of the whole workforce.

The Finnish gameontwikkelaar got fame with Angry Birds and has, since then, many variants and other games released. Also, the company merchandise is on the market with figures from the game and made it an animated series. The gameontwikkelaar exists since 2003 and has its headquarters in the Finnish Espoo.
