The European Agency for the Safety of air navigation has announced that European airlines are now free to determine whether their passengers may make calls from the air. Also, the rules for devices as well as tablets and other electronics are relaxed.

The EASA has let us know that it is no longer the rule imposes that travellers are obliged to portable electronics, the flight mode switch. According to an EASA spokesman makes the adjustment of the rules ‘theoretically’ possible that a passenger can still make calls from the terminal up in the air.

According to the EASA, the rules last year, all relaxed, get travelers now more freedom of movement than with American airlines. European airlines, however, the possibility of this would still not be able to allow or to own rules for the use of consumer electronics aboard. Also, passengers must the equipment off as the crew members there to ask.

Despite the easing of the rules requires the AGENCY or airlines or the wireless signals that the devices generate the controls of their aircraft and do not disturb. To do this, the companies have an internal procedure to follow. Furthermore, many airlines in their aircraft have the necessary equipment to install. However, it is not inconceivable that in the long term, ‘stiltezones’ in aircraft created will be, as the stiltecoupés in trains.
