BlackBerry has a Porsche Design smartphone with BlackBerry 10 will be presented. The components seem to be largely inherited from the Q10 last year, but the design is different. The phone will also cost a lot of money.
It is the third Porsche Design smartphone from BlackBerry. The first was a variant on the Bold 9900, while the second is a variant of the Z10. This Porsche Design P’9983 seems to be the most on the BlackBerry Q10 from last year with a 3.1″screen with a resolution of 720×720 pixels and a Snapdragon S4 soc, a MSM8960 with two processor cores at 1.2 GHz; soc since 2012 in use in smartphones. The working memory has a size of 2GB, the storage is 64GB.
The phone measures 12×6,7cm and has a thickness of 10.6 mm. Therein dwells according to BlackBerry a 2100mAh battery. The physical keyboard has four rows of keys, which judging by the images a part of the casing stitches.
The P’9983 comes in October, but BlackBerry does not mention any price. Previous Porsche Design devices had prices between 1500 and 2000 euros.
