Apple reports sales record after starting the pre-sale iPhone 6

According to Apple, there are in advance a record number of iPhone 6 models sold. According to AT&T there is the highest demand for new iPhones in two years. Despite the claims, there are still no sales numbers disclosed.

Opposite Recode let Apple know that the announcement of the iPhone 6-pre-sales for a sales record has resulted in the first night that the new device order. The company from Cupertino, however, has not revealed how many preorders there have so far been received and was also not known if there are more than 4.7″ or the 5.5″models are sold.

The presale of the iPhone 6 began in the United States on Friday morning local time. The American telecom operator AT&T reported high demand for iPhone 6 models. According to the telco, the demand for new iPhones is higher than in the past two years has occurred. Also AT&T makes no precise sales figures are known.

Starting next week, the new iPhones will actually be available, though it seems plausible that the higher demand than supply, long lead times will be. In the Netherlands, start selling the iPhone 6 until september 26. Apple announced its new smartphone at a private event on Tuesday in San Francisco.
