There are screenshots appeared of what Google’s upcoming Spotify-rival Music Key. The service includes two different variants: with only audio as Google Play Music Key, and videos as YouTube Music Key. The service replaces Google Play Music All Access.

The price of the service is slightly higher than that of Play Music All Access, but users of All Access would increase access to Music Key. The new Spotify competitor of Google is going to ten dollars per month cost, it appears from the screenshots that Android Police has published. Android Police has in recent years frequently correct information is published about unannounced Google services and features of Android.

The screenshots also show the functionality of the service: users can stream music and videos offline to save on their phone, the software playlists compiled on the basis of preferences, a playlist to stream to Google’s own hdmi dongle, Chromecast and the service a month to try out without having to pay for it. Music Key would allow users to access a catalog with more than 20 million music tracks, including original albums, concert recordings and remixes.

Users will not separately pay for the variants of YouTube and Google Play: in the screenshots praises Google as ‘two for the price of one’. Android Police says it does not know when the service goes live.

Google has no secret that it is working on a music service for YouTube. A Google’s executive chairman said in June, is already openly in conflict with indie labels over the terms of the placement of videos on YouTube. Artists got because of the conflict to the European Commission.
