Samsung will be out in early september with its own virtual reality glasses, according to The Verge. The glasses, which is now also an image available would be similar to Cardboard, a cardboard glasses from Google that a phone should be set aside.
In contrast to the Google I/O announced Cardboard-glasses would be Samsung’s virtual reality glasses are not of cardboard but of plastic, but the principle seems the same: there must be a phone in to be moved to where the screen of the phone is used to take images on the glasses to turn. Lenses in the glasses must ensure that there is a 3d effect.
There is already speculation about a virtual reality glasses from Samsung, but it is the first time that a rumor comes out about a concrete announcement. Samsung would be the glasses you want to show at an event where probably also the Galaxy Note 4 is announced, reports The Verge.
It is unknown whether the eyewear is a collaboration with Oculus, with which Samsung a collaboration. Recently surfaced image of a pair of glasses by the two companies together would be made, but which has a different design.
