NLZiet, the joint videostreamingdienst of the public broadcasting, RTL and SBS, will open its doors by July 1. The service is 8 euro per month costs. That has the videostreamingdienst announced on Thursday.
The first month is free, but then pay subscribers for 8 euros per month for unlimited access. Subscribers on two devices at the same time look through the browser and apps for Android and iOS. Support for Apple TV, Chromecast, smart tvs and set-top boxes from different providers will follow maybe later. “We have yet to determine which route we were going to take,” said Boss. With the price of 8 euro is NLZiet just as expensive as Netflix, and soon to be even cheaper. Netflix recently announced that the price would increase from 8 to 9 euros per month.
NLZiet is in fact a interfacelaag on the top of the separate Missed the Broadcast services of the public broadcasting, RTL and SBS. Within NLZiet are the platforms of the broadcasters are also separated, although there is a common search bar. The income from NLZiet be divided among the broadcasters on the basis of the viewing habits of the user, who thus is more programs of the public broadcaster view, the public broadcaster more money.

It was already clear that the videos on NLZiet in hd picture quality would be, but Missed the Broadcast, for example, in sd-quality.
