Tweakers are inventive and above all creative, so is Friday but again in a special way become clear. Tweaker I_am_akira built in two years time, an Atari Lynx II to a GameCube, which also trouble-free games are to play.

I_am_akira made the case for his console, the GC-Lynx, an Atari Lynx II and he tried the original shape as much as possible to maintain. The tweaker and sprayed the device in the ‘retro’ GameCube-colors and used on top of a gloss layer. Almost all original GameCube buttons are also transferred to the Atari.

The device, which is about 700 grams and hassle free GameCube games can play, features the original board of the fourth game console of Nintendo. In addition, the card can be transferred, and rested I_am_akira the console with a 4.3″vga screen from Dalian Good Display, with a resolution of 480 by 272 pixels.

The housing offers space for a 6400mAh battery, which has a running time of approximately three hours would be required to guarantee. The tweaker also thought about the details: five leds serve as a battery indicator that shows at a glance it is clear how much playing time is left. Also, there is a 128MB-memorycard to the system board, soldered and there is a Gecko-sd-adapter built-in to homebrew – and emulatiespellen to play. Two iPhone 4-speakers provide, finally, for the sound.

In total, the tweaker two years on his creation, that he Friday for the first time showed on GoT. For the console, he used two Nintendo GameCubes, two GameCube controller and an Atari Lynx II. Both Tweakers as on YouTube, where his video presentation to share, receive I_am_akira a lot of praise for its design and specific to the detailed finish.

I_am_akira late Friday yet again that we, tweakers, quirky and versatile. Tweakers was previously looking at a few of you, in the series, the Gathering of the Tweakers. The episodes with the visitors of this site can be found here.
