Microsoft has its first smartphone as an owner of Nokia announced. The Nokia X2 is a Android smartphone with 4.3″screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200-soc. The software has also been updated compared to the Nokia X from three months ago.
The biggest addition to the Nokia X2 compared with the previous Nokia X is the addition of a Home button below the screen: the first X only has a Back button, which users have long had to press to come back to the home screen.
Microsoft Devices has the software on the device is adjusted. So there is now an alphabetical list of applications right from the home screen, just like in Windows Phone. To the left of the homescreen is in the Fast Lane, with more recent activity and recent apps. The working memory has a size of 1GB. The screen is a 4.3″lcd with Microsoft’s own ClearBlack technology with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. With the announcement, it is clear that Microsoft is the strategy of Nokia to Android smartphones to make underlined, and endures.
