There are images appeared of a printed circuit board with possible a on the Maxwell-architecture-based GM210 gpu from Nvidia and 8GB memory. It was going to be an early version of the GeForce GTX 880 card.

The images appeared first on the Chinese site MyDrivers and show a printed circuit board of a video card and a close-up of the gpu. On the gpu, the code-designation 1421A1 from which to infer is that it is an A1 revision of the chip that is in the 21st week of manufacture.

According to the Chinese source, it goes to a pcb of the GTX 880 with the GM210, a high-end-video chip that on the fuel-efficient Maxwell architecture is based. The only chip for desktopkaarten that Nvidia has released was the NM204 of the GTX 750 and 750 Ti. According to Videocardz are also in these new photographs to that GM204; the GM210 would be in the second quarter of 2015 to be expected.

The prototype is, in any case, with 8GB memory equipped, consisting of sixteen SKHynix H5GQ4H24MFR-modules. Furthermore, there are three power connectors, two zespins and a achtpins-versions, which is remarkable given the amount of energy savings that Nvidia realized it. It is unclear what vague made is on the images. Rumors are that the GTX 880 on a supporting arm-soc will have.
