Four out of ten Dutch people opt for often cheaper virtual provider

More and more people opt for a subscription with a often cheaper, virtual provider. That is according to figures from research firm Telecompaper. Where a year ago by 30 percent a subscription decreased at a so-called mvno, that now at 40 percent.

This increases the customer base of providers such as Telfort, Simyo, hollandsnieuwe and I Am with a quarter in a year’s time, is to make out the figures from Telecompaper. This is My the biggest of those virtual providers, already lost the party called market share. Tele2 and hollandsnieuwe saw their market share or to increase.

More and more people are also opting for the combination of a sim-only subscription, and a device separately. Where earlier showed that the number of devices that people purchase increases, is now also to be seen that the number of people with a sim-only subscription increases. Meanwhile, almost half of the connections are sim-only. Many variants are customers cheaper with a sim-only.
