At HP Belgium lwa disappear further 300 jobs

By the continued disappointing results, HP further 300 jobs at the Belgian branch of the company. At the end of 2015 should the layoff be completed. The redundancies come on top of the recent elimination of a total of 11,000 to 16,000 jobs at HP.

The repeal is part of a reorganization that HP since 2012 in the process of implementing. The restructuring would, according to Datanews over the past two years all 265 jobs for a total of 2000, were lost when the Belgian branch of the group. The redundancies will mainly fall in the Enterprise Service department; HP saw its revenue out of that branch in the second quarter by 7 percent to $ 5.7 billion.

HP let Datanews know that it will work on reinstatement of the affected employees within HP itself. If that does not happen, the company is looking at a voluntary retirement scheme and offer support in finding a new job. The number of redundancies in 2012 announced restructuring continues to grow; the original would, by the reforms as’n 37.000 employees lose their jobs, but that number has currently increased to a total of 50,000. If all ontslagrondes are completed, the total personnel of HP, in comparison with the reforms, are shrunk by 17 percent to 250,000 employees.

The reorganization will be completed must be at the end of this year. According to Meg Whitman, ceo of HP, the company will, from 2016 back on the right track; that want to include are more focus on software and less on hardware.
