A third of the Dutch population makes use of video-on-demand services. This is evident from a research by GfK. The revenue from these digital sources is even above that of physical products have increased, claims the research firm.
The most used device for streaming movies and series is the television, 74 percent used a tv for vod services. If Dutch people use such a service, they have a preference for the look of the series; 80 percent of the people who are streaming, say series online to watch. Half of the Dutch say for the look of a film to make use of legal streaming.
Also the popularity of streaming music increases; as with vod services says a third of Dutch people to make use of services for the streaming of music, such as Spotify. This form of media is when Dutch people between 13 and 17 years the most popular; 60 percent of this group says streaming music. The most popular platforms to stream music are the laptop and smartphone.
The numbers come from the GfK Trends in Digital Media & Entertainment-research. It says also that there are now 7.4 million tabletbezitters. Where the market in the second half of last year still grew by 10 percent, seems to be now saturated. That noted GfK already in may. Among the elderly, it would tabletbezit still increase.
