The photos show the successor of Huawei Ascend P6

There are pictures appeared of what the successor of the Huawei Ascend P6. The Ascend P7 is slightly thicker than its predecessor, and differs only on details of the design of the 6,18 mm-thin smartphone that Huawei last year released.

So has Huawei a button on the side which is somewhat reminiscent of the button that Sony uses in his recent Xperias smartphones. To the front is almost no difference to see with the current Ascend P6, but the back seems to be a pattern that the P6 does not have, as is to be seen on the photos CNBeta has put online.

The software on the phone would be based on Android 4.4.2 with Huawei’s own EmotionUI. The phone would be slightly thicker and a bigger screen: where the P6 a 4.7″screen, it would be the P7 features a 5″screen with full hd resolution. Huawei would be a new processor of its own products, the Kirin 910T. The phone would be a 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and a 13-megapixel camera on the back.

Huawei released the Ascend P6 in the summer of last year on the market. The manufacturer does not share sales figures, but there was in any case a lot of interest in the unit: the review is one of the meestgelezen reviews on Tweakers of last year. The Chinese manufacturer holds next week in Paris, an event for the presentation of his new smartphone.
