‘Telenet increases speeds for Fibernet XL, Whop and Whoppa-subscriptions’

Telenet seems in silence to the speed of his Whop and Whoppa-subscriptions, the all-in-vnom vnom n-packets of the kabelaar, to have increased. Customers report that the internet speed after a reset of the modem is increased. Also Fibernet XL-subscriptions are faster.

The speed of the Whoppa subscription, which 72,95 euros per month cost, seems to have risen from 120/6Mbit/s to 150/10Mbit/s for respectively the download and upload speed. That report Telenet subscribers to the Userbase forum. They noticed the increase in speed after the reset of the cable modem.

Also customers with the cheaper Whop subscription, which 62,50 euro per month costs, reported a faster connection. Subscribers report a download and upload speed of respectively 80 and 5Mbit/s. Previously, it was 60 and 4Mbit/s. Customers with a Fibernet XL connection reported a download speed of 200Mbit/s and 10Mbit/s for the upload. That was for the increase in speed is, respectively, 150 and 5Mbit/s.

Telenet has the speed boosts still not officially announced.
