The iPhone 6, which has longer rumors go, and later this year, would be released, according to an Apple fansite may be a screen with a resolution of 1704 by 960 pixels. The exact size of the screen remains still guessing.

A resolution of 1704 by 960 pixels would be a lot higher than that of the iPhone 5, 5c and 5s, which has a resolution of 1136 by 640 pixels. 9to5Mac sets of anonymous sources have learned that the new resolution is currently being tested. It is rumored already that the iPhone 6 has a bigger screen, a new resolution is also obvious, because the number of pixels per inch, otherwise it would probably fall under the limit of 300, so the pixel density would greatly lag behind that of competing phones.

If the iPhone 6 has a screen of 4.7 inches, the pixels per inch at the tested resolution down to 416. With a diagonal screen size of 5.5 inches would be the number of pixels per inch amount to 355; the iPhone 5s is 326. That means that the iPhone is behind other phones like the Nexus 5, which has a pixel density of 445ppi.

If the new resolution is introduced, it means that developers that their applications to the new resolution must convert it. Otherwise, the applications geüpscaled, making visual elements blurred can eyes. The question is also whether Apple, the buttons on the homescreen, simply larger or that it otherwise will be decorated for the higher resolution, sources of 9to5Mac differ on that opinion.
