Lenovo makes ThinkPad 10 tablet, a full hd upgrade and Atom quadcore

Lenovo has its ThinkPad 10 tablet is an upgrade with better hardware. The business 10″tablet with Windows 8.1 now comes with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and the processor is a quad-core-Atom.

The first version of the ThinkPad 10, in 2012 announced under the name ThinkPad 2, had standard a 10.1″screen with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels, an Atom-dualcore, 2GB ram and 64GB flash storage. Now found Lenovo it’s time for an upgrade and the new model has a full hd resolution, Atom-quadcore on the basis of Intel’s Bay Trail platform, 4GB ram and 64GB or optional 128GB storage memory, expandable via sd cards. There is also a 2-megapixel camera on the front and an 8-megapixelmodel on the back. The advertised battery time to go is 10 hours.

Lenovo brings a large number of accessories for the tablet. Standard is a stylus included, which is no longer in the tabletbehuizing to integrate, and, optionally, there are multiple covers with keyboards, which is a holder for the pen. In addition, there is a docking station that, among other usb 3.0, hdmi and an ethernet port provides. Also a fingerprint or smartcard reader is optionally available. The starting price for the ThinkPad 10 is 572 euros and the tablet comes in June in the Netherlands. Models with 4g support get a higher price.
