Lenovo announces the ThinkStation P300. This is an entry-level workstation for cad and other graphics applications, which, among other Xeon E3-1200v3 processors with HD Graphics 4600-gpu’s can be equipped with.
The ThinkStation P300 is not only with Xeon E3-1200v3 processors, but optionally also with the Intel Core cpus of the latest Haswell-generation provided. The systems include a place for a Flex module, which allows users easy a combination of optical drive, media card reader, firewirepoorten and esata port should be able to make.
The workstation comes in a fulltower and smallformfactor format on the market. In the first case, the video card is the Nvidia Quadro K6000, the second for the K4000. Further, the large model of four 3.5″hdd’s house, while the sff model, up to three hdds, including two 3.5″instances, and a 2.5″model. In terms of storage, Lenovo can the systems be equipped with up to a msata ssd of 256GB in combination with a hdd storage of 4TB. The maximum amount of memory amounts to 32GB.
The ThinkStation P300 is from July available in the Netherlands and gets a starting price of 750 euros.
