T-Mobile customers that are in the area of the Netherlands where the provider network has already renewed, call more. That says the provider against Tweakers. The operator thinks that it is due to an improved coverage indoors.
The number of calls increased in the area where T-Mobile network has already been updated with ten percent, while in recent years the number of calls through the network, just stayed the same. The amount of data took place on the new network has also increased, with forty percent; that is probably due to the arrival of 4g, which is faster than 3g.
Lampros Iskos, director of technology at T-Mobile Netherlands, thinks that customers of the network simply because better is available. “We see that as customers, faster internet, they are more in use. When you go surfing the web? For example, if you are at the airport a half an hour to wait. You can now have more browsing in that half hour, it is logical that the more data consumed.”
T-Mobile refreshes like KPN and Vodafone network with so-called SingleRAN equipment, which 4g is possible. The provider has the management of its network at the beginning of this year transferred to the Chinese apparatuurmaker Huawei.
