‘CIA told Belgian military intelligence about hackende Russians’

The Belgian intelligence services have not self-identified that Russian hackers on the systems of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were active. The military intelligence service ADIV would be tipped off by the CIA.

The CIA would be the Belgian colleagues of the ADIV have warned that Russian hackers through the so-called Snake virus had entered the computer systems of the ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Federal Computer Crime Unit is going to attack together with the military intelligence service and the service state Security service to investigate further. Earlier this week it was decided to provide the ministry of Foreign Affairs in a digital quarantine. The measure is for municipalities to impossible to any longer passports to deliver.
