Banks had in the first months of 2014, more than five times a day with one or multiple failures, as in the same period last year. Especially the ABN Amro bank was having to contend with many more failures than in 2013.

Where the ABN Amro in the first quarter of last year, two days with one or more failures had happened this year at 39 days, as appears from the figures that Tweakers has gotten AlleStoringen.nl. The figures for april are not comparable, because in that month last year, the banks under fire layers with ddos attacks, so on many days the services may be temporarily not working. That factor has played for so far as known, this year is no role.

The ING Bank is the bank that on most days, a disturbance had, as appears from the figures: in 47 days, reported users a failure, compared to 11 last year. In February, that number is the highest on 22 of the 28 days, notified users of a disruption.

In total, the four major banks, ABN Amro, ING, Rabobank and SNS, in the first three months of this year, 131 storingsdagen, compared with 24 last year. That is more than five times as much. AlleStoringen counting something as a failure if there are at the site, including tweets in the holes, in a period of an hour long, four times as many messages come in as normal for that time.
