Sony has the Xperia Z2 smartphone in the Netherlands, but the first customers will get the device until next week. This is evident from a tour of a tweaker along all of the stores that the unit will deliver.
Sony confirms opposite Tweakers that it is the Xperia Z2 from this week, and delivers to retailer The Phone House and the major Dutch providers, while other retailers the device from mid of may to deliver the goods. This would make the unit a few weeks after the original date that he would come out to be available.
A lot of tweakers report nevertheless, in the Xperia Z2-topic on GoT that they in spite of preorders, the smartphone has not yet been delivered. Tweaker Andydewit has made an overview of the delivery times of various shops. This shows that retailers probably only from next week will deliver. Some retailers believe even the device from the end of may to have on hand.
With the delivery start of may is the release of the device a month later than was intended. Sony wanted to make its new smartphone at the same time releasing with competitors like the HTC One (M8) and Samsung Galaxy S5. The Japanese manufacturer presented the successor of its Xperia Z1 at the end of February.
Update, 14:08: T-Mobile has are site adapted and now says that the unit is available immediately. Several customers of Vodafone have the device also receive.
