Apple makes MacBook Air models cheap and provides a new cpu

Apple has the 11″ and 13″-entry-level MacBook Air laptops upgrade. The notebooks will be available on the latest Intel Haswell processors. In addition, costs of the laptops as of Tuesday, 100 euros less than before.

Instead of a 1.3 GHz cpu to get the 11″ and 13″versions of the new MacBook Air line, with code names J41A and J43A, now a 1.4 GHz Intel Core i5 processor from the Haswell series with a turbo boost of 2.7 GHz. The Core i7-option has the same clock speed: 1.7 GHz with boost to 3.3 GHz.

Apple has no further changes in the hardware of the compact laptops compared to the 2013 model. So are the MacBook Airs still have 4GB of ram and a ssd of 128GB or 256GB.

The most spectacular change is the price: the 11″model now costs from 929 euros instead of 1029 euros, while the 13″model is also a 100 euro price drop now only 1029 euros is available. The new MacBook Airs are available starting Tuesday, is available, also in the Netherlands.
