Lot of PlayStation 1 and PSP games are Tuesday suddenly made available in the Sony Entertainment Network Store. Games like Gran Turismo and Sega Genesis Collection for download and playable, say users on forums.

Also there are PSP games available, that there were not previously. The games do not appear on the front page of the store and there is also no guarantee that all of them work. Pocket Fighter works according according to DualShockers for example, do not. Also not all titles that are available for Us users of Neogaf are available in the European SEN store. Examples of titles that, according to Neogaf in Europe are Burnout Legends and the Capcom Classics Collection.

Why and how long the games are available, is not clear. Also, it is not known whether the games work in the future playable will remain. Possible causes for the sudden availability of the games are a bug or a human error; if the Japanese manufacturer the games had intentionally released, it would be probably more attention to it. Sony wants yet opposite Tweakers not to comment on the sudden release of a lot of PS1 and PSP titles in the downloadwinkel.

Update, april 24, 10,49: The relevant games are now removed from the Us SEN store. In the European SEN store, nothing has changed.
