Apple has in the recent months the growth in sales of iPads will show decline. The sale of iPhones went better and increased 17 percent compared to the same period last year, as appears from the quarterly of the American chinese technology firm.

Apple sold 43.7 million iPhones in the months of January, February and march and that there were in the same period of the previous year to eur 37.4 million. Apple released a little more than half a year ago iPhone 5s and 5c, and recently came with an 8GB version of the iPhone 5c.

The number of sold iPads came in at 16.3 million compared to 19.5 million in the first months of 2013. Apple released right at the end of last year, new iPads, including the iPad Air and iPad mini Retina. The number of sold Macs is 4.1 million, slightly higher than the 3.9 million last year.

This seems to be slowly coming to an end the rapid growth of both the iPhone and the iPad, the largest sources of revenues for Apple. While the sales of the smartphone market as a whole is still dozens of percentage increase, to grow, the sales of iPhones more than one year less than that of the rest of the market. The growth of 17 percent is higher than that in previous quarters.

Apple turned a turnover of only around € 33 billion and made a profit of only € 7.6 billion. That is slightly higher than the revenue and profit in the same period last year.

Update, Thursday, 08:15: Apple claims in a note that the decline in iPad sales is less dramatic than the quarterly figures do occur. The company says that consumers are 17.5 million iPads bought compared to 18 million the same quarter a year earlier. In the quarterly figures are only the figures of shipped iPads: Apple calls just like almost all other manufacturers rarely to never make any real sales figures.
