Epic Games is working on support for Windows Phone and Windows RT in the Unreal Engine 4. The actual implementation of that support, however, is still far in the future. Unreal Engine 3 already supports Windows Phone and RT.

Time Sweeney, co-founder of Epic Games, says that on the Unreal Engine Forum. He adds, however, that although Epic Games has the intention to support to add, and they’re working on it, they are still far removed from an actual release for these two platforms. Preliminary the company is focussing on iOS and Android, due to the larger market shares of these operating systems.

Epic made the last time a lot of work on Unreal Engine. For example, in the past few weeks, support for Linux and Steam OS announced, the prices for the use of the tools and engine is reduced, and is the fourth version of the Engine in Firefox demonstrated. In addition, has Epic last year, support for the Oculus Rift announced.
