The Kickstarter game There Came an Echo is not just for Windows released, but also for the PlayStation 4. The developers decided this after they were convinced by the voice command capabilities of the PS4.’

The developers say that the voice recognition system will better work than general systems such as Siri or Google Voice Search because it has a much smaller dictionary need to handle. The developers give the example that a command like “Grace, hold position” if desired, may be replaced by “Yo girl, hold up.” The possibilities here are basically endless: players will be allowed to any statement they can think of to connect to the commands in the game.
