Logitech has a new mouse for gamers in its G-series. The Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse features five dpi settings in-game interchangeable, with accuracy vari lwa ranging from 200 dpi up to 12,000 dpi.

Logitech says the first with a mouse with a sensor for 12,000 dpi accuracy. The mouse would movements at a speed of 300 inches per second to record. Previously claimed the SteelSeries a value of 16.400 terms of its accuracy, with his Sensei Pro Grade Laser Mouse, but it would be a dcpi-value: derived from dpi and cpi. This last one is the sample rate for movements. The actual dpi of the laser sensor of the SteelSeries Sensei Pro would be 8200, but thanks to the presence of an arm-soc would be the dcpi stretched to 16.400. Because Logitech explicitly about dpi with regard to the sensor, is to assume that for the claim of this manufacturer, the cpi is not taken into account.

However, there is an arm soc in the Logitech G502 Proteus will be present, but this is used for the control of the memory for the 11 programmable buttons. Additionally, the mouse has a report rate of 1 millisecond. The mouse weighs without wire 145 grams and with braided wire 168 grams. Logitech provides five weights of 3.6 grams with the Proteus Core, so that gamers themselves the weight and the balance can determine. The weights can magnetically closed flaps sit. There are also 3 dpi-indicatorleds, a scroll wheel with two modes, and mechanical switches. The Proteus Core is still to come this month for 80 euros available.
