Twitter has plans to priv lwa messages from users to encrypt temporarily shelved, claiming to be an American technologiesite. The decision would mainly be due to lack of time.

Twitter has never formally announced that the private messages would encrypt, but the reliable American newspaper The New York Times reported in October that the social network was planning. In that way, would the social network be more difficult for the intelligence agencies and hackers to the private messages of users to be intercepted.

According to sources of the technologiesite The Verge plans are tentative, however, in the shelved. Employees of the encryption worked, would have been tasked to stop, without that, it was clear why. The decision, however, would especially have been taken due to time constraints and not because of a change in vision, sets the techsite.

Twitter has privacy activists a good reputation. The company did not want to cooperate with Prism, the extensive spy by Edward Snowden to the light was brought, and is critical of requests for information from users by the U.s. government.
