A Tizen-fansite has screenshots published of Intel’s interface for Tizen. The interface used ruitvormen for shortcuts, notifications and other interface elements. There are Google apps visible in the screenshots, suggesting that Tizen Android apps running.

The screenshots, Tizen Indonesia posted online, showing especially the main menu of the Obsidian interface, Intel for Tizen. Therein are all diamond-shaped icons for applications. Between these applications are the now no longer functioning Google Currents and Google Drive. Because Google only apps for Android and iOS, it seems obvious that Tizen Android-apps can run.

The images also show how the interface with notifications deal: in the shortcuts is a digit with the amount of notifications, while a diamond-shaped overlay new notifications it can display. Earlier images suggested that the interface much use of overlays on the main menu, instead of a new window.

Intel used the interface on a referentietoestel with the name Josephine; this is a device that is since last year summer in the hands of developers. It is unclear whether the interface ever on a phone will appear that is really in the shops.
