Samsung has design right is claimed for the design for a tablet with curled edges on the sides. On the basis of the properties of the design is not going to be a tablet in a existing product line of Samsung.

The drawings were by phoneArena discovered on the website of the American patentorganisatie USPTO that the application has been approved. In the drawings, is a tablet without a home button. It is, therefore, probably not for the Galaxy Tab 4. The displayed tablet has curved edges on the left and right side, probably to make the device easier to keep up with it.

It is possible that a new Nexus tablet, but it is unknown whether Samsung will make. PhoneArena draws that conclusion based on the lack of a home button, but that was at the time of the request is not yet on tablets of the South-Koreaase manufacturer. Samsung reports it to the application further little, only that it comes to the design of a tablet. The design is similar to the Flyer, a tablet HTC in 2011; and that at the top and bottom also have a curvature in the housing.

The application dates back to 2012 and does not prove that the Samsung is a tablet with this design will actually release. Large companies often ask a lot more patents than they apply in products, in order to prevent other companies there with new ideas on technologies or a specific design off.
