“Less than completed. n percent of mobile gamers makes for half of in-app purchases’

According to e-commerce company Swrve provides a very small percentage of mobile gamers for revenue from in-app purchases. Half of the money spent comes from 0.15 percent of players. Makes 1.5 percent of the mobile gamers, however, even an in-app purchase.

That says Swrve in a research report that the company has put online. The market researcher took a sample of 10 million players of mobile games in January of this year and looked at what they are spending on in-app purchases. It was found that the income of developers from in-app purchases primarily come from a very small number of players. According to Swrve is about 0.15 percent of the total number of mobile gamers responsible for half of the revenues.

In January bought 1.5 per cent of the players something within an app. These players bought the most things once. Approximately 13.2 percent of the players who have an in-app purchase, did, bought five times or more often something in the month of January. Players in-app purchases, did, gave, on average, 15.27 as dollars, converted approximately 11,15 euro. On average, do these players make their first purchase within the first 24 hours after they conscious game for the first play.

Swrve provides services to mobile developers, including the provision of in-app-purchases and the sending of push notifications. This allows the company to draw from zelfvergaarde data, but it is unclear how representative the sample is.
