Base reached speeds of 250Mbit/s to test with lte-advanced

The Belgian telecom provider Base has announced that it tests speeds of 250Mbit/s has met with the network technology lte-advanced. The company was not known when such speeds available to consumers.

According to Base, the tests carried out in Hasselt and it is the first time that a Belgian telecom provider, the lte-advanced technology test. In theory, think the telco speeds of 300Mbit/s, but it stayed at the tests get stuck at 250Mbit/s. For the tests it was equipment supplied by the Chinese manufacturer ZTE, which also includes the necessary equipment for the 4g network of Base supplies.
