A first picture of what is possible with a new model in HTC’s Desire series, is online. It is a dual-sim phone with a screen of 5.5″, with a yet unknown resolution. May follow a release of the Desire 800 on 18 march in Beijing.
The marketingrender originally comes from the Chinese website MyDrivers. Sources of technologiewebsite Engadget have confirmed that the photo is authentic. In addition to the white Desire that on the picture shows, the unit will probably be in the red, orange, cyan, and yellow.
According to the site, the Desire 800 a 13 megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixelvariant on the front. That front camera has a ‘schoonheidsoptie’, something that was previously on the Huawei Ascend P6 was, who also has a 5MP frontcam. The cameras don’t make use of HTC’s Ultrapixel technology. Also the device has stereo speakers on the front and unlike the HTC One looks like the Desire is largely made of plastic. It would, therefore, also to a midrange model.
